Even if an elegantly colored wooden coat hanger would suit the ambience of your wellness area, choosing a colored stained or painted hanger is not recommended. Our color-treated coat hangers are all coated with a protective varnish, but since we only use environmentally friendly water-based varnishes, this cannot withstand the long-term impact of moisture and unsightly discoloration can occur.
That's why we recommend using naturally varnished wooden coat hangers in the wellness area. And if you want to be on the safe side, you should use our popular plastic coat hangers.

Wood look, colour or plain?
The coat hangers in a hotel can be as varied as the rooms. Hangers made of natural wood or in different colours perfectly round off the interior design of a room. This means that the hanger is not only a functional object for your guests, but also a decorative element.
The natural look of the wood fits perfectly with a Scandinavian, rustic or modern interior. Depending on the interior style, our hangers can be individually coloured to match your hotel decor even better.
The staining process
The staining process is used to give the coat hanger a natural look. The colour penetrates the wood and discolours it to varying degrees depending on the type of wood and the thickness of the grain. Branch rings, for example, become darker than the wood surface. This is why we generally use beech wood for staining or colouring, as it has the best properties for this purpose and ensures a relatively uniform colour of the wood. We then apply a matt or glossy protective varnish to the hanger. Since wood is a natural product and the colours differ from delivery to delivery, we do not see the different colors as a disadvantage but as the "charm of nature."

The top coat
Unlike the staining process, when varnishing, the wood is covered with a matt or glossy paint. This ensures a uniform colour. An additional protective varnish is not necessary, as the paint already contains one and is applied directly. Standard colours such as white or black, but also all RAL colours can be used to customize your hanger.
